New Inquisite Survey Software Quickly Puts Actionable Feedback
Austin, Texas - August 6, 2008 - Inquisite, an established provider of Web-based software designed to help organizations easily collect, understand and manage feedback from customers, employees and partners, today announced the availability of Inquisite Survey Software 9.0. This version of the company's leading Enterprise Feedback Management (EFM) software features a new interactive analytics engine and report builder that provides business decision makers with a greater level of insight into customer and employee opinions and motivations.
"The new analytics and reporting capabilities in Inquisite 9.0 have certainly made it easier and faster for our organization to better understand our key constituents," said Kristin Thomsen, manager of marketing research for The United Way of America. "Because the reports and charts are interactive, I simply point and click on a variable to drill down into more detail. And I can now quickly generate a single customized report to present all necessary data, rather than needing to create separate reports. Inquisite software has never been more simple or powerful."
Inquisite Survey Software 9.0 preview sessions for existing customers elicited overwhelmingly positive responses. Nearly eighty percent of customers participating in pre-release demonstrations described the new software as meeting or even exceeding expectations.
Recognizing the need to get the right information to the right people at the right time, Inquisite was one of the first EFM providers to include role-based access to feedback data. Inquisite licenses include roles for Survey Administrators, Survey Analysts and Survey Reviewers. User roles include varying levels of access for survey development, deployment and data analysis, thus enabling organizations to optimize the survey process and easily share feedback across the enterprise. This feature, in combination with the powerful new reporting features in version 9.0, makes acting upon customer or employee feedback faster and more strategic than ever before.
With Inquisite Survey System 9.0, sharing data across the enterprise becomes even easier. Survey Administrators, who often bear responsibility for deploying surveys and generating standard reports for internal business unit clients, can now have even greater confidence in assigning Survey Analyst access rights to select business decision-makers, enabling them to readily access and work with specific survey data themselves. With the new analytics and reporting features in Version 9, the Survey Analyst has greater control over the depth and breadth of data analysis. They also have the ability to customize reports relevant to their business objectives, as opposed to the typical 'canned' reports available in most survey products.
The reporting enhancements in Version 9 also benefit Survey Administrators, saving them time and effort. With the ability to more effectively customize reports, Administrators can more quickly deliver relevant information to end users of the data. Administrators can combine report filtering with the power to create customized views for Survey Analyst users, thereby delivering immediate analyzable results to data consumers at all levels of the organization.
The new analytics engine also provides greater flexibility to change the look and feel of reports, eliminating the need to run multiple reports and reducing the need to export data to Excel or other programs for customization.
New features of Inquisite 9.0 include:
o Ability to present data in role-based, custom views, enabling faster time to data and action for decision-makers
o Best of both quantitative and qualitative data with automatic tabulation of both pre-coded and uncategorized responses, plus scoring and aggregate numeric statistics
o Customizable charting by question that distills lengthy tables into concise visual summaries.
o Interactive segmentation with flexible answer grouping ("roll up") in frequency and multi-banner cross-tabulations
o Ability to manipulate and filter data rapidly through mouse-driven drill-down and 'drag and drop' for faster delivery and interpretation
"Almost all significant business processes should have a feedback loop," said James Martin, chairman and CEO of Inquisite. "Version 9.0 of our survey software continues Inquisite's commitment to delivering powerful, yet easy-to-use software facilitating the gathering and sharing of feedback. The new analytics and reporting capabilities give our customers immediate access to, and control of, the information they need, allowing them to make accurate and informed decisions about their own customers, employees and partners, based upon the opinions and needs expressed."
Availability and Pricing
The hosted, i.e. SaaS, version of Inquisite Survey System 9.0 will be available on August 16th, while the installed version will be available September 2nd. Pricing is dependent upon configuration.
