CAMARILLO, CA - Binder-USA has announced the release of a M8 to M12 connector adapter as part of the company's Series 765 automation connectors. The adapter allows the connection between M12 and M8 cordsets. The small IP67-rated adapter can be used for many factory automation applications where M12 and M8 sensor cables operate in the same network.
The adapter has a M8 male cable connector and a M12 female cable connector. Adapters are available with 3 or 4 contacts and are rated at 4 amps per contact. The adapter is 40 mm long and has a diameter of 12 mm.
