Cinch Unveils High Density Filtered D-Sub Connector

High Density Design Reduces Space and Weight

LOMBARD, ILLINOIS - October 24, 2007 - Cinch Connectors has introduced a RoHS compliant high-density filtered D-Sub connector.

Targeted specifically at the commercial market, this new connector features a more dense contact arrangement, resulting in substantial space and weight savings for design engineers. Compared to the equivalent standard density D-Sub connectors, a savings of 40% in space and over 100% in weight is achieved.

Using high quality turned pin contacts, the connector shells are available in bright tin or nickel finish. The filter elements are encapsulated using epoxy resin for maximum performance characteristics in hazardous environments.

The high-density filtered D-Sub connector family is available in 15 to 62 I/O variants, and 330 and 1000 pF configurations.
