New, UL-Listed High-Flow Filtration Systems from Parker Racor Division Provide Clean, Dry Fuel

HOUSTON, APRIL 30, 2007 - The Racor Division of Parker Hannifin Corp.
introduces the FBO-10-MA and FBO-14-MA high-flow fuel filtration systems for marine applications. These models have received Underwriters Laboratories (UL) listing for marine vessel or fuel dispensing applications.

Offering water and particulate removal from diesel and other fuels, the FBO family employs proven Racor technology and has been in service for many years in the aircraft, trucking, mining, construction, and power generation refueling markets.

Racor's new FBO-10-MA and FBO-14-MA filter assemblies are designed to meet the toughest refueling conditions and provide for tool-less filter change-outs. The FBO assemblies will handle flow rates from 18-50 GPM depending on the elements specified and the fuel being filtered.

"This year, due to new diesel engine technologies such as common rail fuel injection, we have seen increased demand for high flow and high performance marine filtration solutions that have required aviation filtration quality,? says Jake Pendley Racor Hydrocarbon Filtration Product Manager; "The marine versions of the FBO family fill the needs of many fuel dock managers, vessel operators and yacht owners globally?.

Features and benefits include filtration efficiency tailoring via various available elements, an element change-out differential pressure gauge, and a water-in-fuel sight plug for ease of service.
