New Miniature Photoelectric Sensors Are Cost Effective Solution for Conveyor Applications

TWINSBURG, OH - Pepperl+Fuchs introduces ML8 Series Photoelectric Sensors. These miniature sensors (31mm x 11mm x 23mm) feature tamper-proof construction to eliminate setting adjustments by unauthorized users. They feature high ambient light immunity (40 klux) and provide a sensing range up to 2.5 meters making them ideal for conveyor applications, and particularly "over-sidewall" sensing.

High intensity LEDs provide sensor output status and are visible from the front and rear of the sensor. Available sensing modes include diffused and polarized retro-reflective. Slotted mounting holes enable mounting versatility and a visible red LED transmitter facilitates ease of alignment. These sensors are available with integral M8 or pig-tailed M12 connectors.

Pepperl+Fuchs is a world leader in the design, manufacture and application of high quality factory and process automation products and services. Pepperl+Fuchs pioneered the development of proximity sensors 45 years ago, and has set the standard for innovation and quality ever since.
