Wheel Bends are used for tight corners in conveyor systems.
August 11, 2006 -
Available in 30, 45, 90, and 180° executions, Wheel bends feature flat top design for items to pass through tight bends. Safety is provided by finger and product protection in chain inlet and outlet, and by covering between top and lower wheel. Covered side faces and self draining lower wheel ensure no dust or liquid remains inside. Equipment is easily attached to wheel bend inner side face via interior nut slot, while outside T-slot allows attachment at any position.

FlexLink Launches a New Generation of Conveyor Wheel Bends
The new wheel bends offer reduced noise level, new functional features and improved protection.
"The new wheel bends offer substantial improvements with regards to functionality, safety, noise level and appearance, compared to what is available in the market today" says Christer Cedervall, Director of FlexLink's Product & Supply Division.
Wheel bends are used for tight bends in conveyor systems for parts, products and box distribution in production systems. The new FlexLink wheel bends sets new standards with regards to versatility and safety.
A small or large item is no problem as the flat top design allows even larger items to pass through the tight bend. A high personal safety level is obtained by the refined finger and product protection in the chain inlet and outlet, and the covering between top and lower wheel. A low noise level has been achieved by refined chain in- and out-feed guidance. Moreover the cleanliness is enhanced by the flat top design, the covered side faces and the lower wheel which is self draining so that there will be no remaining dust or liquids inside. Equipment can be easily attached to the wheel bend inner side face through a interior nut slot. The wheel bend outside is equipped with a T-slot for easy attachment at any position.
The wheel bends are as standards available in 30°;, 45°;, 90°; and 180°; executions for our XL, XM and XH conveyor platforms. In addition to this, customer specific variants between 30°; and 210°; are available.
