New Self-Contained Dust Collection System Eliminates Need for Costly Compressed Air
CINCINNATI, OH - May 26, 2006 - United Air Specialists announces the introduction of the SDC Series of compact shaker-style dust collectors. These self-contained collectors are designed to effectively capture and filter airborne pollutants in intermittent-duty industrial processes while occupying minimal factory floor space.
The SDC is easy to install, and arrives with everything necessary to begin collecting dust. The shaker system also provides energy savings by self-cleaning the filter media without using expensive compressed air. Upon shutdown, SDC dust collectors automatically shake the filter media free of dust. Additionally, the SDC Series allows for cleaned plant air to be re-circulated, reducing exhaust and energy costs.

Fast, tool-free maintenance - user-friendly cam-action locking bar facilitates filter change-out and maintenance.
Rugged, heavy-duty construction - a durable TEFC motor and powder-coated finish allow the SDC Series to function indoors or out with no fading or chalking.
Quiet operation - a backward-inclined blower wheel improves operating efficiency and reduces unnecessary noise.
Typical applications include bin ventilation, grinding, packaging, polishing, sanding and sawing processes for ceramics, pharmaceuticals, plastics, pulp and paper, rock and related products, rubber and woodworking.
Available with multiple discharge options, the SDC shaker dust collector handles 300 CFM to 8,000 CFM. Application-specific bag filters are available to fit individual processes.
