November 19, 2001 - Rosspunch pins are precision ground for injection molding of plastic luer taper components. Pins are custom made with tolerances to 0.0005 in. length and 0.0001 in. dia. in steps from 0.006 to 0.750 in. They can be made from all common tool and stainless steels in 0.250 to 10 in. lengths. Pins can incorporate ground ends with radii, flats, symbols and odd shapes. They can also be nitrided, TiN coated, and hard chrome plated for wear requirements.

Precision Core Pins For Luer Taper Applications

Custom core pins that can be precision ground to specification, with full repeatability, for the injection molding of plastic luer taper components are available from Ross Tool Corporation of Warren, Rhode Island.

ROSSPUNCH Precision Core Pins are custom made and fully repeatable within a specific size and style, with tolerances to .0005" on length and 0.0001" on diameters, making them ideal for luer taper component applica- tions. Featuring multiple steps from 0.006" to 0.750", they can be made from all common tool- and stainless steels in 0.250" to 10" lengths.

Manufactured to customer specifications, ROSSPUNCH Precision Core Pins can incorporate ground ends with radii, flats, symbols, and odd shapes. They can also be nitrided, TiN coated, and hard chrome plated for special wear requirements. A full range of metric sizes are offered as well.
