New SMA EZ No-Solder Connectors for LMR-240 Available From Times Microwave SystemsTimes Microwave Systems announces the availability of the EZ-240-SM and EZ-240-SM-RA connectors for LMR-240 low loss coaxial cable. These straight and right angle SMA plugs attach to the cable without soldering, making them ideal for field installation. The center contact attaches to the center conductor of the cable via beryllium copper spring fingers and the outer contact crimps onto the outer braid of the cable. Each connector is individually packaged with installation instructions and a dual wall, adhesive lined shrink boot for strain relief and weather protection. The EZ-240-SM (3190-1530) straight SMA plug is $8.00 the EZ-240-SM-RA (3190-1536) is $15.00 - both are available from stock.
LMR® cables are flexible, non-kinking low loss RF transmission line cables that utilize easy-to-install connectors and are suitable for use as antenna feeders, system jumpers and interconnects.
