Elliptical LEDs are suited for sign applications.

July 7, 2004 - Screen Master(TM) 574/SM series LEDs feature elliptical package and 110º x 50º viewing angle. LED's are matched to provide smooth, balanced appearance in high performance displays and full color video applications, eliminating patchiness due to differences in radiation patterns. They incorporate AlGaInP and InGaN/SiC transparent substrate die technologies. Elliptical package has tinted diffused lens with stand-offs and is available in red, red-orange, green, and blue.

Marktech Introduces Next Generation Screen Master(TM) Elliptical RGB LEDs

Menands, New York: Marktech Optoelectronics today announced the availability of the latest generation of its Screen Master(TM) 574/SM series LEDs. With its elliptical package and 110º x 50º viewing angle, the Screen Master series is ideally suited for sign applications.

The Screen Master's unique design enhancements provide superior control of the LED far field pattern. The LED's are matched to ensure a smooth, balanced appearance in high performance displays and full color video applications, eliminating patchiness due to differences in radiation patterns often found in competitor devices. This innovative packaging concept provides designers with consistency and brightness unparalleled in the industry.

The Screen Master series employs AlGaInP and InGaN/SiC technologies, which provide superior brightness over the competitions standard offerings. The elliptical package has a tinted diffused lens with stand-offs and is available in Red, Red-Orange, Green and Blue. Additional uses include, but are not limited to, variable message signs, RGB applications and general illumination.
