Filtration System accepts 0.2, 0.01, and 0.005 µm membranes.

June 16, 2004 - Hilco® Ceramic Membrane Crossflow Filtration System uses high-velocity fluid crossflow across face of membrane. Oil-free water passes through ceramic membrane while oily waste is concentrated in process reservoir. Depending on particular waste stream disposal, volumes can be reduced as much as 20 times. System covers pH range from 2–13 and is immune to chlorine attack. It offers thermal shock resistance and is back flushable, preventing unwanted fluids from re-entering.

New Hilco® Ceramic Membrane Crossflow System Provides More Efficient Filtration of Liquid Waste

ELMIRA -- The Hilliard Corporation is proud to announce the availability of the Hilco® Ceramic Membrane Crossflow Filtration System. This newest offering is part of Hilliard's complete line of industrial filtration products.

The Hilco Ceramic Membrane Filtration system is an ideal way to lower your oily-water waste disposal costs. The filtration system offers increased efficiency through the use of a high-velocity fluid "crossflow" across the face of the membrane. The oil-free water passes through the ceramic membrane while the oily waste is concentrated in a process reservoir. Depending on the particular waste stream disposal, volumes can be reduced as much as 20x.

The Hilco Ceramic Membrane Filtration System is designed to accept three different micron-rated membranes (0.2µm, 0.01µm and 0.005µm) in order to meet all specific local discharge ordinances. The system's membrane filter consists of thousands of channels, some of which are converted to permeate conduits. These conduits allow the entire filter diameter to be effectively utilized. In addition, the membrane's durable ceramic material extends the system's lifetime. More efficient filtration results in a decrease in both environmental contamination and disposal costs.

The Hilco Ceramic Membrane Filtration system covers a broad PH range, from 2-13, and is immune to chlorine attack. Its compact design is engineered for thermal shock resistance, and the system is back flushable, preventing unwanted fluids from re-entering the system.

The Hilliard Corporation's Hilco division is one of the oldest filter equipment companies in the world, with over 75 years of experience in critical filtration and separation applications. Demonstrating dependability through the years, Hilco has earned a reputation as an industry leader and a manufacturer of quality, "Made in the USA" products. The Hilco product line includes filters, cartridges, reclaimers, vent mist eliminators, coolant recyclers and filtration systems.
