New Ergodyne® Squidsâ„¢ Tool Lanyards Help Prevent Lost Productivity and Injury

ST. PAUL, Minn. - (March 19, 2004) - Ergodyne today announced the release of its Squids® tool lanyards, which are designed to prevent dropped tools from injuring workers and damaging equipment.

"The whole point of the Squids(tm) lanyards is pretty simple; you no longer drop your tools. Better yet, you don't drop them on someone's head!" said Ergodyne CEO, Tom Votel.

These lanyards bring together safety, convenience and freedom of movement by combining features such as lock stitching, secure barrel locks and expandable tubular nylon webbing.

The Ergodyne® Squids(tm) tool lanyard line includes:

· Model 3100: Single caribiner and barrel-locked loop

· Model 3110: Dual caribiner

Both models are black and are available in standard (35"/.89m, expandable to 42"/1.1m) and extended lengths (42"/1.1m expandable to 54"/1.4m).

Squids(tm) tool lanyards feature:

· Expandable cord surrounded by tubular nylon webbing permits total flexibility - without sacrificing strength.

· Lock stitching at both ends provides extra security.

· Rust-free silver aluminum carabineers allow easy, secure tool swapping.

· Adjustable barrel lock (3100) keeps tools securely attached.

· Cleaning is as easy as wiping with a damp cloth.
