Prab's New Chip Briquetter Adds Value to Metal Scrap

June 2002, Kalamazoo, Ml. PRAB Inc. announces it's next generation of metal Chip Briquetters - the PaceSetter™ Series II. This new Briquetter has a compact design, comes in 5 capacity ratings (up to 6400 lbs. per hr. of Aluminum) and can create a new profit center from your metal scrap. Metal chips, fines and sludge from Aluminum, Cast Iron, Steel, Brass or Copper machining operations can be transformed from a disposal problem to dense, dry pucks which typically command higher scrap prices in today's market. In addition, cutting oils and coolants are recovered for re-use, saving money and reducing your environmental liabilities. With Prab's System's Approach to Briquetting, utilizing Prab conveyors, dumpers, crushers and tramp metal separators, previously difficult to handle "non-briquettable" turnings and bushy metal scrap can now be processed automatically, saving labor costs. Prab provides complete installation and service of its PaceSetter™ Briquetter Systems and can make scrap pay, by reducing transportation and storage costs while improving your plant environment. A consistent briquette size permits easy tracking and accountability of metal scrap output. Prab products are marketed through representatives worldwide.
